The British Embassy in Madrid is looking for a Consul/Head of Post for Alicante. They are seeking a dynamic leader to represent the UK in one of the FCO’s busiest consular districts. Based in Alicante, the successful candidate will cover a huge region stretching from Castellon to Murcia – an area with the highest concentration of British residents outside the UK, and visited by 4m Brits each year. The right candidate will need to be a strong manager, leader, proactive and capable of making decisions, often in fast moving and highly sensitive situations. They must be a British Citizen and ideally have a good command of Spanish. |
